Company Announcement
Another successful national training rollout
September 2002 - Instructional Design Associates
“slam dunked” yet another successful system training
rollout, this time for the New York State Department of Environmental
Conservation (NYSDEC) Automated Licensing System (ALS.)
IDA designed and developed the training material for the newly
written Hunting and Fishing license system and then delivered the
training to the statewide agent community. “In the past two
years we have also successfully rolled out the training for similar
projects in Washington, Montana and Texas with user communities
ranging between 1800 – 4000 members” said Judy Barbuto,
IDA’s president. “We have a strong nationwide network
of highly skilled trainers which we draw from enabling us to implement
nationwide large scale projects with so much success” said
Barbuto.
IDA, a 12 year old company, is a symbol of true entrepreneurial
spirit. Barbuto ran the company from her home for the first 6 years.
She now has offices in Fountain Valley and has recently opened a
branch in Littleton, CO. IDA primarily develops user documentation,
training materials and delivers the training for large corporations.
With a wealth of experience in large system development life cycles,
IDA also assists with business analysis, specification verification,
system testing (planning, development, execution and management),
change management and project management.
“IDA is an attractive partner to large corporations bidding
on Government contracts as it holds both Woman Business Enterprise
(WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) status”
said Barbuto.
Many of IDA’s clients and teaming partners value Barbuto’s
effervescent personality that permeates through IDA, its staff members
and the projects they work on. To clients, IDA’s staff is
seen as top caliber professionals who never lose sight of having
fun while providing a world-class service.
